Nurses across the UK are requested to share stories of working on the front line in an RCN survey that is part of its safe staffing campaign.

The survey is to gather firsthand information highlighting the effect of staffing levels on nurses’ ability to deliver safe and effective care.

‘We want to hear your personal experiences’

RCN general secretary Dame Donna Kinnair said: ‘Wherever nurses are working we want to hear their personal experiences so we can get a real insight into what it is really like working as a nurse today.’

‘I would urge all nurses to take ten minutes to tell us what it is like in their job so we can use their stories to fight for better conditions for all nurses across the UK.’

The survey runs until 16 February and the results will be shared with members at RCN Congress 2020, which is being held in Liverpool on 7-11 June.
