<p>Hospice care is shifting away from dealing solely with end of life issues to helping families live with children with life-limiting conditions. Many of the children being helped have a learning disability and suitably qualified nurses are being employed to offer a more rounded package of care.</p>
<p>Set up in 2007, Beeston Action for Families is a multiracial group of families with adults who have a learning disability in Leeds who get together to share information, support and social activities in the community.</p>
